International Day of Persons with Disabilities

The International Day of Persons with Disabilities is celebrated on December 3rd. The date was established by the UN in 1992 with the aim of raising public awareness and mobilizing efforts to guarantee equal rights and opportunities for people with disabilities.


The occasion also highlights the importance of inclusion and accessibility and the strengthening of public programs to build a fairer and more inclusive society.
